Literacy Week January 30^th to February 3^rd, 2012 We have a variety of school-wide activities planned throughout the week to put a special focus on reading and writing. This year’s theme is Poetry. STOP, DROP AND READ: Students and staff everywhere will grab their favorite book and settle in for 15 minutes of uninterrupted reading! Stop, Drop and Listen: During these times, a winter poem will be read over the announcements for all students to enjoy. Bookmark Design Contest: Each grade level will have a contest winner whose bookmark will be printed and distributed to each student in their grade level. “I WINTER” Contests: Drawing and response activities for lower elementary and response and poetry writing activities for upper elementary. Skate Exchange Saturday Jan 28th: Time: 10 - 12 Place: School Gym We will be collecting skates the week prior to the exchange.
	PTA Major Fundraising Campaign What’s your vision for St.Catherine’s? The PTA wants to understand what priorities students, parents and teachers have.
